Ladders seeks a Regulatory and Licensing Program Manager to lead complex regulatory initiatives for financial services and fintech. This fully remote US-based role drives strategy, cross-functional coordination, and scalable practices across the organization.

You will manage licensing projects end-to-end, mentor teams, and partner with senior leadership to optimize regulatory execution. This position offers visibility with executive stakeholders and impact on market readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience with 4+ years in regulatory/licensing roles in financial services/fintech.
• Direct experience with at least one licensing application or regulatory examination from start to finish.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-month programs with multiple dependencies.
• Strong ability to hold senior colleagues accountable and escalate risks proactively.
• Practical experience using AI for research, analysis, and reporting, including workflow automations.
• Excellent written communication, able to distill complex information into concise executive summaries.
• Willingness to accommodate global regulatory demands, including occasional off-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Support licensing applications from initial strategy to final approval, managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including sequencing, dependencies, and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
• Facilitate working sessions and executive briefings to drive program progress and decision-making.
• Monitor and manage risks across all programs, ensuring timely escalation and involvement of key stakeholders.
• Define and manage reporting metrics to provide senior leadership with an accurate overview of market statuses.
• Establish scalable service standards for regulatory and licensing program management.
