Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Engineering Manager - Mobile to lead a focused mobile engineering team delivering polished app experiences for both employees and customers in a regulated finance environment. You will own mobile roadmaps, releases, and cross-functional delivery while scaling a high-performing team.

This remote US-based role requires close partnership with product, UX design, and backend teams to ship secure, well-integrated mobile products.

Qualifications

5+ years leading software engineering teams with a focus on mobile app delivery.
Proven experience shipping production iOS, Android, or cross-platform apps across multiple store releases.
Experience managing complex multi-persona mobile applications is a strong plus.
Familiarity with mobile release operations and feature flag management.
Background in fintech or regulated domains is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Recruit and hire a team of 3+ mobile engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
Drive execution of mobile roadmaps for employee and admin product surfaces.
Oversee release engineering practices, including pipeline management and staged rollouts.
Collaborate with product management, UX design, and backend teams for seamless integrations.
Establish mobile observability using tools like Braze and Sentry to track app performance.
