Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Quality Abstraction Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise-wide registry activities, ensuring accurate data, timely submission, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will oversee interoperability tools, drive data quality initiatives, and collaborate with facility executives to improve clinical performance and outcomes across multiple service lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in quality, abstraction, registry with at least one year in supervision.
• Five years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience (OR/Med Surg/ER/ICU) in healthcare.
• Proficient use of software for data quality, management, and presentation.
• Knowledge of statutory and accreditation requirements for data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates a registry team across the enterprise to ensure data accuracy and timely submission.
• Manages data collection, validation, and reporting for CMS, payor, and accreditation entities.
• Oversees interoperability and data reporting tools, ensuring compliant data abstraction and submission.
• Develops processes for inter-rater reliability audits within registries.
• Collaborates with service lines and executives to drive quality improvement initiatives.
