Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, delivering care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. You will provide specialized nutrition care via telehealth, collaborating with a medical provider and therapist to deliver a holistic care plan.

You will manage patient care with evidence-based nutrition therapy, maintain documentation, and ensure privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• National certification as a RD or RD/N by CDR with license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate with multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans.
• Partner with patients over multi-week programs to support sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits on Pomelo platform.
