Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation seeks an experienced Regional Vice President, Retirement for the Virginia market. This role focuses on bank and wire channel wholesaling, managing a territory through field meetings, seminars, and targeted producer acquisitions.

Requires 5+ years in wholesale distribution, FINRA 6/7, 63, and Life & Health licenses, plus strong relationship and travel abilities. Expect base salary plus incentive compensation; flexible hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years wholesaling experience in banking or wirehouse distribution channels.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 and Life & Health licenses.
• Proven sales competence with ability to present and influence decisions.
• Strong knowledge of the advisor community and industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow the aligned business plan to achieve activity metrics and grow market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with territory coverage and zone rotation.
• Conduct product and sales training through individual and group sessions, seminars, and workshops.
• Source leads through Strategic Sales Opportunities (SSOs) and maintain CRM records.
• Adhere to travel, expense budgets, and sales process standards.
