Job summary

Pennex Aluminum Company seeks a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Southeast territory (VA, NC, SC, GA, TN) from a remote location, serving OEMs, end users and distributors. The role reports to drive revenue and margins and to expand profitable business with focused accounts.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years outside sales in extrusion/manufacturing, and willingness to travel; highly values customer relationship skills, problem solving and teamwork with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience in extrusion/manufacturing.
• Ability to multitask, read and interpret safety rules and CAD drawings.
• Understanding of extrusion processes and metal fabrication basics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand current customer base with outstanding service.
• Prospect and close new customers within the territory.
• Forecasting and sales tracking for the region.
• Meet annual sales forecasts and develop account plans.
• Collaborate with production, quality and technical teams.
• Attend relevant trade shows in the region.
• Travel within the territory; overnight travel may exceed 50%.
