Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales activity in the assigned Southeast territory, supporting the Wellsville, PA location. You will work with OEMs, end users and distributors to build long-term, profitable business and meet revenue and margin forecasts.

Remote position but must reside in the Southeast territory (Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee) with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3+ years outside sales experience in extrusion or similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and expands current customer base by providing outstanding customer service and support; growing and developing relationships with current key customers and identifying opportunities within the current group.
• Grows customer base by actively prospecting and closing new customers within the territory.
• Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking activities for the region.
• Achieve annual sales forecasts, goals and objectives by implementing a territory sales plan and key customer account plans.
• Work with production, quality, technical and customer sales support teams to meet customer expectations.
• Attend trade shows relevant to customer markets in the region.
