A. O. Smith Corporation is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Water Treatment to grow the customer base and support current customers through in-field coaching and training. The role focuses on wholesale channels and requires developing trusted advisor relationships across the territory.

The candidate will travel frequently (75%), be a remote/home-based professional, and work within PA/NJ/NY/VT/NH/MA/RI/CT/ME regions. Excellent communication and product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of residential water treatment experience.
• WQA Certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Work with the National Sales Channel Manager to understand initiatives and develop a plan of action that supports the goals of the territory
• Develop a strong understanding of Water-Right, Master Water Conditioning and AO Pro products and applications
• Call on users and prospective users of water treatment products to influence the purchases of A. O. Smith Water Treatment’s equipment and services
• Support existing customers and attract new prospects with on-site technical and resource trainings
• Attend and support industry and customer events in your assigned region
• Meet sales and expense objectives outlined in the annual budget
• Assist with properly applying and trouble-shooting water treatment solutions and provide in-field support when needed
• Take part in monthly reviews and planning sessions to gauge progress, overcome challenges and review opportunities
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer issues in a timely manner
