Job summary

Mate Precision Technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western and Central US, with remote work and regional travel. You will lead a team of Fabrication Specialists, build key customer relationships, and drive regional sales growth in sheet metal fabrication.

You will mentor teams, develop strategic plans, and present technical guidance to customers while traveling 9–11 overnights per month. The role requires strong communication skills and fabrication tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

• Residence within the Western & Central US Territory (WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, CA, NV, AZ, UT, TX, OK, AR, MO, NE).
• Minimum of five years of sales and/or sales management experience in a related industry.
• At least five years of fabrication tooling experience (Punch/Die, Press Brake, or Laser).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
• Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with CAD or programming software is a plus.
• Ability to travel regionally with approximately 9-11 overnights per month
• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical education or college degree preferred.

• Collaborate with sales management, marketing, and operations to align priorities.
• Represent Mate at trade shows and industry events to expand presence.
