Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety and health initiatives for construction projects across a region. You will guide Site Safety Managers, drive incident prevention, and partner with site leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and client expectations are met.

You will develop safety programs, conduct site field walks, and promote a zero-injury culture while coordinating training and onboarding for new sites and safety personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety & health or the sciences preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• OSHA 30 Construction required; 500/510 certifications preferred.
• BCSP Certification (CSP, ASP or CHST) preferred.
• Experience with union workforce desired.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and ability to influence behaviors.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety software programs.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coaches a team of Site Safety Managers and site personnel.
• Manages safety and health for their region or area of responsibility.
• Develops and administers incident prevention efforts for their business unit/geography.
• Supports deployment and continuous improvement of safety programs across operations.
• Acts as safety point of contact for new sites and onboarding of site safety managers.
• Assists in creating site-specific safety plans and training.
• Responds to safety prequalification and bid requirements and supports project readiness.
• Promotes a zero-injury culture and provides coaching for safe behaviors.
