Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the safety program across regional job sites. The role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a proactive safety culture, and leads trainings for field teams including superintendents and craftsmen.

The position reports to the Regional Safety Manager, requires travel to multiple project sites, and demands strong leadership and communication to drive continuous safety improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience on large projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience developing JHAs, SSSPs, and Fall Protection Plans.
• OSHA 500 Trainer certification or trainer-level experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-wide safety policies and develop job-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure OSHA and company standards.
• Participate in JSA reviews and Site Safety activities.
• Lead safety trainings and meetings at corporate, regional, and self-perform levels.
• Participate in and lead corporate safety meetings.
• Lead preconstruction safety meetings for self-perform work.
• Serve as trainer for Fall Protection, NFPA Hot Work, First Aid/CPR, MEWP, and Forklift topics.
• Perform hazard assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and root cause analyses.
• Ensure PPE and fall protection systems are properly used and maintained.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and coordinate site-wide initiatives.
• Collaborate on pre-task documentation (Fall Protection Plans, Demolition Plans, Silica Exposure Control Plans).
• Maintain OSHA logs and safety meeting records; training certifications.
