Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety and health performance across construction projects in the region. You will guide Site Safety Managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with site leadership to improve safety programs and incident prevention.

This role requires strong communication with clients and general contractors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA expertise, and relevant certifications, with the ability to travel up to 30% for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred in safety & health or the sciences).
• Minimum 5 years in construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• OSHA 30 Construction required; 500/510 OSHA certifications preferred.
• BCSP Certification (CSP, ASP or CHST) preferred.
• Experience with union workforce desired.
• Experience with data center work strongly desired.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with Clients and General Contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple personnel (directly and indirectly).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety software programs.
• Ability to walk construction sites for extended periods.
• Travel willingness up to 30% for site visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and health performance for region or area of responsibility.
• Coach a team of Site Safety Managers and site personnel to work safely.
• Develop and manage incident prevention efforts for the business unit/geography.
• Support development and continuous improvement of safety programs across operations.
• Act as safety point of contact for strategic discussions with clients.
• Onboard and train site safety managers for new sites and onboard processes.
• Respond to RFPs or participate in customer safety teams as needed.
• Promote a zero-injury culture across all employees and functions.
• Assist in training program development and delivery.
• Review safety documentation for sites and perform field audits.
