Job summary

QXO is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across a multi-state territory (CA, OR, WA, AZ). This remote position prefers candidates residing in California with up to 50% travel.

You will drive a zero-accidents safety culture, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, develop training, conduct audits, and partner with operations to implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (CSP/ASP/CHST preferred) and 5+ years of construction or general industry safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in regional safety management.
• Experience with OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations in construction or manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CSP/ASP/CHST certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional EHS to promote safe and compliant practices.
• Identify and implement safety best practices to improve performance.
• Manage regional safety to prevent injuries and illnesses.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs related to construction/manufacturing.
• Audit field and facility safety; ensure corrective action plans.
• Investigate injuries/incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
