Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our Cincinnati team. This remote role serves the southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeastern Indiana areas, focusing on site inspections, audits, training, and regulatory compliance.

You will support clients with OSHA standards, safety programs, and incident investigations, while traveling up to 20% of the time to client sites and promoting a safety-first culture across multi-client environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in occupational safety, preferably in a multi-client environment.
• OSHA 30 certification (Construction) required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety management systems, and hazard recognition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and audits for client worksites.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.
• Support the implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare written reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with client management and field employees to promote a safety-first culture.
• Respond to incident investigations and help implement corrective action plans.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
• 20% travel requirement outside the State of Ohio.
