Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our Cincinnati team. You will conduct on-site safety inspections, identify hazards, and deliver training while supporting OSHA compliance for multiple client sites in the region.

The role is client-facing and requires strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 20% outside Ohio. A CSP/CHST and OSHA 30 credential are preferred to advance our risk management services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in occupational safety, preferably in a consulting or multi-client environment.
• OSHA 30 certification (Construction).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety management systems, and hazard recognition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and audits for client worksites.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.
• Support the implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare written reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with client management and field employees to promote a safety-first culture.
• Respond to incident investigations and help implement corrective action plans.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
• 20% travel requirement outside the State of Ohio
