Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Penn Valley Pump to drive sales and manage client relationships in municipal and industrial wastewater. This remote role covers TX, OK, KS, AR, MO, LA, MS, Memphis TN, and Southern Illinois, with up to 50% travel.

You will promote pump solutions, interpret technical drawings and proposals, build key accounts, and work with engineering and product teams to close deals and exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment or related field.
• Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients, contractors, and engineering firms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Demonstrate knowledge of pump equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate equipment solutions based on their needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data.
