Job summary

ICF International is seeking an Energy Engineer to support multiple energy efficiency programs in Texas and Louisiana, with remote work from Houston and up to 30% travel. You will evaluate HVAC, lighting, and building systems and assist with energy modeling and verification activities.

Under supervision from senior engineers, you will develop calculations, conduct on-site assessments, and coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality results for utility programs serving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Energy, Environmental, or Renewable/Sustainable Engineering (or related substitution).
• 2+ years of professional energy efficiency engineering experience in building systems or utility programs.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Review energy savings calculations for HVAC, building automation, lighting, motors, and process equipment.
• Evaluate baselines for existing/building construction using program procedures and guidance.
• Prepare and review measurement and verification plans and supporting docs for energy savings verification.
