Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations across multiple construction projects in the Western region. You will partner with project teams, unions, and field leadership to ensure successful setup from a labor relations standpoint.

The ideal candidate excels at fostering strong relationships with unions, administering CBAs/PLAs, and resolving employee relations matters. This role is fully remote with details discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Labor Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction with trade unions.
• Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret CBAs and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and provide guidance to project teams for compliance.
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution with Legal Counsel.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate startup activities including workforce planning, pre-job conferences, and labor relations trainings.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases per company standards.
