Job summary

West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth through independent agencies in the Detroit/Eastern MI territory. You will develop strategic plans, manage agency relationships, and coordinate with sales, underwriting, and marketing to achieve profit and growth goals.

The role requires 5+ years in property/casualty insurance, strong knowledge of products and regulatory requirements, and proficiency with MS Office and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in property/casualty insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by identifying, prospecting, and appointing high-potential agencies.
• Build and nurture strong agency relationships as trusted advisor.
• Partner with sales to meet or exceed territory objectives.
• Provide product and service insights and address agency inquiries.
• Analyze territory performance and prepare actionable reports.
• Lead agency training sessions on new products, services, and industry updates.
