Job summary

Cost Plus World Market in Alameda, CA is seeking a Regional HR Manager to lead associate relations, talent development, and compliance across the region. The role supports field leaders and partners on staffing, retention, and HR programs while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

You will influence company-wide initiatives, coach managers, and ensure HR operations meet legal standards. This is a full-time remote-capable position with CA pay range $110k-$120k.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree, or comparable generalist HR work experience preferably in the retail industry.
• 3+ years of previous management experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Indisputable personal work characteristics with professionalism, objectivity and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills to convey confidence and collaborate with all levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to the region focusing on associate relations, talent development, performance management and compliance.
• Partner with field leaders on staffing, retention issues and planning with strategic and tactical guidance.
• Support company-wide initiatives to help teams achieve goals and deliver results.
• Train Managers on HR practices including coaching, discipline, and hiring.
• Ensure Retail HR operations adhere to legal standards and practices.
