Job summary

Gillis is seeking a Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) to drive outbound and proactive sales for six multi-branded hotels across the USA and Canada. This home-based position reports to an Executive Director of Sales Performance and requires periodic in-market visits.

You will cultivate relationships with General Managers and front desk teams, manage a Salesforce-driven pipeline, and deliver strategy updates. Travel 2–4 times annually; base salary is $70K USD with incentives and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel guestroom sales across market segments.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow market share.
• Experience with RFP processes, brand tools, and account management.
• Strong relationships with hotel owners and GMs.
• Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 2–4 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic outbound sales for 6 hotels and coach GMs and staff.
• Drive ROI for hotel partners while achieving revenue milestones.
• Activate new accounts and grow market share via prospecting.
• Deliver bi-weekly sales strategy presentations via MS Teams.
• Develop a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with POD to drive revenue across the portfolio.
• Create client experiences and manage expectations with professionalism.
• Travel for in-market visits to strengthen client relationships.
