Job summary

Gillis Sales is seeking a Regional Director of Sales to lead outbound and proactive hotel sales for a 6-hotel portfolio across Canada and the USA. The role is home-based and reports to an Executive Director of Sales Performance.

You will travel 2–4 times per year for in-market visits, drive revenue milestones, and build strong relationships with General Managers and owners while leveraging Salesforce to manage a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel guestroom sales experience across all market segments; multi-property sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business, grow market share, and achieve revenue goals.
• Experience with Salesforce and CRM systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 2-4 times annually for in-market visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic outbound sales for a portfolio of 6 multi-branded hotels and coach peers in best practices.
• Drive ROI for hotel partners and meet revenue milestones within a 6-month sales cycle.
• Activate new accounts and increase market share through targeted prospecting; report progress bi-weekly via MS Teams.
• Develop and nurture a Salesforce-based sales pipeline to manage accounts and shorten cycles.
• Collaborate with POD to drive revenue across the hotel portfolio.
• Create exceptional client experiences and manage expectations with professionalism and integrity.
• Travel for in-market visits to strengthen client relationships.
