Job summary

Gillis Sales is seeking a Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) to lead outbound, proactive sales for six hotels across Canada and the USA. The role is home-based and requires travel 2–4 times per year, reporting to the Executive Director of Sales Performance.

You will develop a sales-driven culture with hotel teams, manage a Salesforce-based pipeline, and deliver regular strategy updates via MS Teams. The position offers a base salary of $70K USD, quarterly incentives, and a profit-sharing bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel guestroom sales experience across market segments.
• Proven ability to generate new business, grow market share, and achieve revenue goals.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Office, AI tools, and sales technology.
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills for remote work.
• Residence in the United States and ability to travel 2–4 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, outbound sales for a portfolio of 6 hotels and coach GM/Front Desk teams.
• Drive ROI for hotel partners and hit revenue milestones in a 6-month cycle.
• Activate new accounts locally and grow market share through prospecting and strategy meetings.
• Develop a Salesforce-based pipeline to manage accounts and shorten sales cycles.
• Collaborate with POD to drive revenue across hotels.
• Create exceptional client experiences and manage expectations with professionalism.
• Travel for in-market visits as needed to strengthen relationships.
