Job summary

Gillis Sales seeks a Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) to drive outbound sales for 6 hotel brands across the US/Canada. This home-based role reports to an Executive Director of Sales Performance and requires travel for in-market visits.

Expect a base salary of $70K USD with quarterly incentives and profit-sharing, plus 31 paid days off and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include strategic sales with GMs and staff, ROI driving, pipeline management in Salesforce, and bi-weekly strategy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel guestroom sales across market segments.
• Proven ability to generate new business, grow market share, and hit revenue goals.
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales strategies, RFP processes, brand tools, account management, and hotel operations.
• Experience building trusted relationships with hotel owners, GMs, and local accounts.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM), Microsoft Office, AI tools, and sales technology.
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills; able to work remotely.
• Willingness to travel 2–4 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, outbound and proactive sales for 6 hotels and share best practices with GMs and staff.
• Drive ROI for hotel partners and achieve revenue milestones on a 6-month cycle.
• Activate new accounts and grow market share through targeted prospecting; report progress bi-weekly via MS Teams.
• Develop and nurture a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM to manage accounts.
• Support the Dynamic Sales Solution model with your POD to drive revenue.
• Create remarkable client experiences and manage expectations with professionalism and integrity.
• Travel for in-market visits to strengthen client relationships.
