Job summary

CAI is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation MRIHA program. This remote-friendly, long-term contract role focuses on regional grant and contract management, CMS reporting, and stakeholder coordination with hospitals, EMS, and community organizations.

The role requires a public health or related degree and several years of grant management experience, including compliance and reporting. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years of experience working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years of experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including expenditures and documentation.
• Coordinate CMS reporting requirements and ensure timely regional submissions to IDOH.
• Engage regional stakeholders, hospitals, clinics, EMS providers, and community partners.
• Support regional partners in interpreting guidance and maintaining program momentum.
• Track progress, identify barriers, and contribute to statewide consistency through shared tools.
