Job summary

JLL is seeking a Regional Engineering Director to lead engineering operations across a diverse US regional portfolio. You will drive preventive maintenance, safety, and energy initiatives while mentoring teams and managing budgets and capital projects.

You will partner with clients, property management, vendors, and engineering staff to deliver high-performance environments and long-term asset value in a collaborative, safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive engineering or facilities management experience with leadership across multiple sites.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and capital projects in complex environments.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties in the regional portfolio.
• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and BAS.
• Monitor energy management and sustainability initiatives for efficiency.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent with a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
