Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive engineering or facilities management experience, including leadership responsibility across multiple sites or portfolios.
• Strong technical expertise in commercial building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building automation systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and engineering operations within complex environments.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes, regulatory compliance requirements, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify operational efficiencies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams within a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties within the regional portfolio, ensuring reliable building performance and service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, and engineering best practices across all assigned sites.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building automation systems while overseeing major capital projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor energy management systems and sustainability initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support environmental performance goals.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with clients, property management teams, and key stakeholders to address complex engineering issues, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain strong working relationships.
• Manage regional engineering budgets, capital expenditure planning, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Conduct property inspections, audits, emergency preparedness reviews, and performance evaluations to ensure quality assurance and consistent service standards across the portfolio.
