Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Manager for Projects and Services to provide day-to-day EHS support for site activities across the United States.

The role focuses on building relationships with regional managers to promote EHS culture, ensuring regulatory and GE compliance, and leading audits, incident investigations, and EHS training.

Expect up to 70% travel, government project work, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related EHS field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications such as CHST, ASP or CSP preferred.
• 8+ years of EHS experience in projects or services environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work on government projects and travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day EHS support for site activities across all Hydro in the United States.
• Develop relationships with operational and project managers to drive EHS culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and GE requirements and inspect sites.
• Conduct audits and investigations, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Lead EHS training programs and manage reporting and data accuracy.
