Job summary
Leeward Renewable Energy seeks a Regional EHS Manager - Operations to lead safety programs across operational plants in a defined region. You will partner with regional and site leadership, coach personnel, and drive OSHA compliance and Zero Injury principles while supporting remote safety oversight and frequent plant travel.
This role requires 50-75% travel, a CHST or SMP certification, and 6–8 years of progressive EHS experience.
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management.
- Experience with safety incident management software.
- Strong safety leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across levels.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ability to prepare accurate reports.
- Commitment to safety and Zero Injury principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic safety leadership and oversight for operational plants in an assigned region.
- Partner with Regional Directors and site teams to implement and maintain site-specific safety programs.
- Communicate safety performance and needs to regional leadership and the Director of EHS, Quality & Training.
- Execute safety strategy and analyze leading indicators to drive improvement.
- Monitor site activities and safety training for OSHA compliance and internal policies.
- Lead incident investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
