Job summary

Champion Petfoods is seeking a Regional Distributor Manager, U.S. to drive growth with distributor partners across the region. The role focuses on distributor leadership, joint business planning, and improving retail execution while aligning with national sales priorities.

The position is fully remote in the U.S.; travel about 40-50% is expected to support distributors and key accounts. Strong collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience within pet industry, consumer goods, or distribution.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans delivering revenue growth.
• Experience managing distributor relationships and indirect sales channels.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and ROI management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own sales, distribution, and execution results across distributor partners and territories.
• Hold distributors accountable to annual sales targets and promotional programs.
• Lead Joint Business Plans with distributor partners and align to national objectives.
• Coach Distributor Sales Representatives to improve execution and sales effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate regional forecasts and manage trade investments.
• Represent Champion at industry events and partner cross-functionally for execution.
