Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations in the United States is seeking a remote, field-based Business Development Manager, Repair and Remodel, to drive growth with specialty dealers selling exterior building products to homeowners.

You will travel about 70% of the time, build strong dealer relationships, develop market strategies, and coordinate with sales, product and marketing teams to expand product adoption.

Base salary range is $95,000–$115,000 USD, with bonus plans and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with building products such as windows, doors, siding, roofing, decking, or other exterior home improvement products.
• Background in contract negotiation within the building materials or construction industry.
• Experience managing or contributing to P&L accountability within a sales or business development role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market strategy focused on growing Fortune Brands Outdoors products within the repair and remodel specialty dealer channel.
• Build strong relationships with specialty dealers and partners that sell building products directly to homeowners.
• Serve as a trusted business partner and primary connector for customers, helping them navigate Fortune Brands resources, products, programs, distribution and internal teams.
• Partner closely with dealers, distributors and internal sales teams to identify growth opportunities, remove barriers, and expand product adoption and market share.
• Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business model, sales process, market and growth strategy, to find the places where Fortune Brands can add real value.
• Deliver product education, sales training and ongoing support so dealer partners can confidently position and sell our products to homeowners.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between customers, distributors, territory sales teams, product teams, marketing and other internal partners.
• Maintain a strong presence in the market through regular customer visits, field engagement, and participation in relevant dealer and industry events.
• Track opportunities, customer activity and business performance, and own the growth number for your assigned market.
