Job summary
Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Multifamily Business Development Manager to own a territory across the United States, building strong relationships with developers, architects, and distributors. You will drive regional market strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel up to two overnight trips per month to support customer engagements.
The role offers autonomy within a leading portfolio, with a base salary range and opportunity for bonus based on performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in multifamily specification across metro geographies.
- Strong relationships with purchasing and specification decision makers.
- Experience growing business at the multifamily builder level with channel partners.
- Independent, results-driven with multi-stakeholder territory.
- Ability to translate cross-functional resources into customer solutions.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional market strategy targeting multifamily owners, developers, architects, and asset management firms to grow Fortune Brands Outdoors product specifications and market share.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision makers inside multifamily developer organizations, including purchasing leaders and specification influencers, to retain existing business and secure new project opportunities.
- Partner with territory managers, pro dealers, fabricators, and distributor networks to drive revenue through channel partners within your assigned geography.
- Support execution of individual multifamily developer projects from specification through close, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and partners alike.
- Contribute to regional efforts that advance national multifamily developer contract strategies, amplifying your local impact at scale.
- Leverage internal finance, product, operations, and marketing resources to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive profitable growth.
- Travel within your territory to maintain and deepen account relationships, with overnight travel approximately twice per month.
