Job summary

SICK AG is seeking a Regional Account Manager for Industrial Automation to drive sales in the Team Sales unit. The role is remote-based with preference for a candidate in Grand Rapids, MI, covering a regional territory.

You will engage in consultative selling of SICK products, systems, and services, expanding market share and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities include strategic account planning, CRM data accuracy, and collaboration with specialists to maximize wallet

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with a focus on sales.
Experience selling complex industrial automation solutions.
Fluent English in written and spoken form.
Willingness to travel regionally up to four days a week.
Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Be the trusted advisor and main point of contact to our customers.
Sell SICK solutions and services to existing and new account prospects to achieve goals and grow market share.
Collaborate with the Team Selling Unit to meet individual and team goals.
Maintain CRM data for teamwork and global transparency.
Develop strategic account plans for target customers and opportunities.
Identify and qualify business opportunities and customer needs.
