Job summary

ELANTAS North America is seeking a Regional Account Manager to lead sales in the West region from a home office. You will manage the full sales cycle, expand existing accounts and open new opportunities by leveraging knowledge of resins, coatings and engineering plastics.

You will coordinate with regional teams, deliver presentations at events and trade shows, and build strong relationships across multiple levels to achieve sales targets in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering or chemistry preferred.
• 3+ years in the Electrical/Electronics industry preferred.
• 3+ years as Account Manager with proven sales results.
• Proven ability to manage key customers, including global footprints.
• Solid understanding of the Electrical/Electronics industry in North America.
• Computer literate, proficient with MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Represent ELANTAS products to meet customer needs and identify how our solutions fit.
• Maintain and grow sales within the territory; visit customers regularly.
• Deploy key account management to build relationships across locations and levels, including global accounts.
• Develop annual sales forecasts and reports on activities and results.
• Negotiate contracts and quality agreements for the region.
• Stay informed on supply and price trends and product developments.
• Travel extensively and work remotely from a home office.
