Job summary

Elementis plc in North America is seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to lead regional accounts, develop strategic plans, and drive growth across coatings. You will collaborate with regional teams and manage relationships at senior levels to ensure alignment with business strategy.

You will develop and execute plans to identify NBOs, maintain customer focus, and coordinate with Marketing, Technical Service and R&D to meet customer needs while achieving revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree is required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in an international company in the Paints & Coatings or adjacent market.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Purchasing.
• Proven track record in developing and growing commercial relations, successfully selling new products and growing revenue and margin.
• Experience with customer value propositions and value-adding sales.
• Strong Hunter mentality and profile required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience using MS Office products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to translate complex issues into simple understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional key accounts and other designated direct customers.
• Develop regional plans for key accounts to increase business and profitability.
• Maintain and grow customer focus with senior managers, technical supervisors, purchasing managers and chemists.
• Identify and deliver on New Business Opportunities (NBOs) for RKAs and customers.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Technical Sales, and Technical Service to address customer needs and opportunities.
