Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Accident & Health Regional Business Development Manager. The role focuses on driving profitable new production across an assigned territory and deepening producer engagement.

You will evaluate opportunities through MGAs, MGUs, digital platforms, and program managers, and coordinate with Marketing for market positioning. The position is remote or hybrid within the Midwest or Northeast, with a base salary range noted for specific states.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Accident & Health products (Business Travel, AD&D, Occupational Accident, Student Accident).
• Extensive understanding of A&H markets, distribution channels, competitors, and producers.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written/presentation skills.
• Proven leadership and negotiation capabilities across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new partner relationships and expand existing distribution across the territory.
• Evaluate opportunities through MGAs, MGUs, digital platforms, and program managers.
• Support opportunity memos, coordinate stakeholders, and align with Marketing on positioning.
• Manage the new business pipeline from intake to quote delivery and follow-up.
• Partner with insurance counterparts to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Serve as main contact for distribution partners and coordinate with Arch teams.
• Represent A&H at industry events and be a market-facing thought leader.
• Deliver CE presentations to distribution partners.
