Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is seeking a Refugee Health Program Officer to support the Refugee Health Services division and administer the Medical Replacement Designee model for Missouri.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three years of demonstrated experience in programmatic and fiscal oversight, operations, training, administration, and contracting.
  • Experience in the oversight of subcontractors required.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
  • Experience working with health and human service organizations, including federal, state, local governments, clinics, hospitals, nonprofits, and community, ethnic, or faith-based organizations.
  • Working knowledge of the overall refugee resettlement process.
  • Demonstrated track record of cultural humility and experience working with international populations.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills such as writing reports and materials for different audiences and public speaking.
  • Strong MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe skills; MS Access preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team, juggle multiple priorities, and meet regular deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail; flexible and able to move multiple assignments forward.
  • Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by respecting others and maintaining confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Support the high-quality, timely, and cost-effective administration of the Missouri Replacement Designee programs, specifically RMA and RHP.
  • Oversee standards and scope of services under each program.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners, external stakeholders, and support outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate data collection and contribute to analysis and reporting of programmatic outcomes.
  • Serve as key contact for and coordinate with LPRs and MO Replacement Designee and MO-ORA.
  • Conduct monitoring, desk audits, and provide technical assistance to enhance performance.
  • Provide onsite and virtual case consultation, care coordination, and training to LPRs and contracted providers.
  • Work on refugee and immigrant health initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
