Job summary

USCRI (U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants) is seeking an Associate Director – Refugee Services to supervise program officers and assistants across refugee initiatives including Initial Resettlement, Preferred Communities, and Matching Grant.

You will lead a team, implement grant activities, and ensure compliance with USCRI and funder policies. This role emphasizes monitoring/evaluation, data analysis, reporting, planning, and collaboration with field staff to ensure timely, high-quality

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work or related field, with supervisory/training experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years in supervisory roles (team lead, supervisor, or project manager)
• Extensive knowledge of case management for refugees, asylees, SIVs
• Experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and training design/effectiveness measurement
• Strong MS Office skills; ability to use database programs for data collection and reporting
• Solid budgeting skills for program oversight
• Excellent judgment, leadership, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritize, strategize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel domestically as required
• Demonstrated commitment to USCRI's values and human rights for refugees and vulnerable populations

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and developmental support to program staff
• Direct and coordinate grant activities and network with subrecipients for client case management
• Conduct monitoring and desk audits to ensure policy compliance
• Deliver compliance training and technical assistance to staff
• Engage field staff to address compliance challenges
• Identify issues and escalate as needed while delivering resolutions
• Lead data collection, budget assessment, and program proposals/reports
• Establish monitoring/evaluation protocols and scheduling
• Manage online databases and data analysis to improve performance
• Extract best practices to enhance program quality and resources
• Enforce program policies and perform related duties as required
