Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Red Team Manager to lead a team of security professionals simulating known threat actors. You will coordinate assessments, plan and oversee execution, mentor junior members, and collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen customers’ defenses.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced toolset experience, and a proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organization. Occasional travel may be required; a robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Red Team/PenTesting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Experience managing tool development life cycle and development team.
• Security community participation preferred (speakers/contributors).
• Advanced experience with security toolsets (Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Burp Suite).
• Operating systems: Windows/Linux/UNIX/Mac and networking hardware familiarity.
• Proven knowledge of firewalls, proxies, mail servers and web servers.
• Automation/scripting and AI-enabled decision support experience preferred.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
• Desirable certifications: OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, GXPN.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Red Team offerings including engagement work, reporting, and metrics.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Red Team.
• Coordinate Red Team activities and lead all penetration testing efforts.
• Build relationships with 3rd party vendors supporting Red Team engagements.
• Develop reporting and mitigations for Red Team findings for management and technical audiences.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams.
• Create and maintain reports to monitor Red Team performance.
• Organize resources for penetration assessments of OS, apps, databases, networks.
• Contribute to and improve information security programs and resources.
• Provide guidance during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios.
• Collaborate with Sales to scope new customer engagements.
• Balance operator duties with project management in red team operations.
