Job summary

New Roots Institute is seeking a Recruitment and Outreach Manager to lead our high-touch, relationship-based recruitment and expand our diverse fellows. You will build the systems, partnerships, and strategies needed to reach prospective applicants across schools and community organizations, while guiding candidates from interest to application.

You will work in a fully remote role, collaborating across teams and with partners to meet recruitment goals and support admissions during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship-based recruitment, outreach, or sales.
• Ability to build and nurture candidate pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and partnership development.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-touch, relationship-based recruitment and build a pipeline of applicants.
• Create and implement systems for tracking relationships, follow-up, and partnerships.
• Develop targeted outreach to meet recruitment goals and engage priority audiences.
• Cultivate prospects, explain programs, address barriers, and support applications.
• Build recruitment partnerships with schools, educators, and student organizations.
• Activate fellows, alumni, staff, and ambassadors to identify applicants.
• Analyze recruitment data to measure pipeline strength and channel effectiveness.
• Support admissions during high-volume periods with reviews and interviews.
