Job summary

T&J Travel Centers is seeking a part-time Recruiting Coordinator to handle first contact with applicants, schedule interviews and trial shifts, and maintain accurate records. This role supports our training director and may operate in a remote or hybrid setup.

flexible weekday hours with growth potential; Midland-Odessa residency not required. Reports to the Director of Training & Development and works with front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• Warm, confident phone communication.
• Excellent organization and dependable follow-through.
• Discretion with applicant information and data handling.
• Independent work and accurate reporting of hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with applicants within two business days of applying.
• Clarify store, availability and role interest; schedule eligible applicants.
• Coordinate trial shifts; confirm dates and locations; send reminders.
• Maintain applicant records in Rippling or designated tracker.
• Track openings by store/role with director and GMs; reconnect with waitlisted applicants.
• Confirm outcomes with director and update openings; log no-shows.
