Job summary

Tahltan Nation Development LP is seeking a Recruiter to join our team, working with our Construction group to drive full-cycle recruitment for hourly employees. You will engage in high-volume trades, mining, or remote-site recruitment and collaborate with hiring managers to build strong candidate pipelines.

The role emphasizes screening, interviews, onboarding, and HR administration, with a focus on Indigenous recruitment practices and respectful engagement with Tahltan communities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2-4 years in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration, or related HR role.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment including postings, screening, interviews, references, offers.
• Experience building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, communities, and partners.
• Mining, natural resources, Indigenous, construction, or remote-site experience is asset.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, operations, corporate, or remote-site roles is asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly roles from ads to onboarding.
• Schedule pre-employment drug, alcohol testing, and background checks.
• Research and implement innovative sourcing techniques.
• Collaborate with managers to update job ads and descriptions.
• Create screening and interview guides; conduct screens and interviews.
• Participate in recruitment fairs.
• Use social media to attract and hire talent.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Onboard and offboard employees; perform HR admin tasks.
• Collect and analyze HR metrics to drive improvements.
