Job summary

Bicycle Health, a telemedicine provider for opioid use disorder, seeks a Recovery Coach to deliver peer-based support and motivational guidance in a remote setting. You will document care in real-time, support patient engagement, and connect clients with resources to sustain recovery.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years as a peer coach, experience with virtual groups, and comfort navigating EHRs within a multidisciplinary care team. Flexible weekend coverage and travel up to 5% are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a peer recovery coach or equivalent
• 1+ year conducting virtual recovery groups
• 2+ years in medical/behavioral health with EHR documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Cultural awareness and confidentiality
• Ability to practice self-care while supporting clients
• Thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time
• Personal experience with SUD treatment/recovery preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact point between clients and Bicycle Health program.
• Provide peer-based coaching and facilitate peer support groups.
• Document in real-time in the EHR with quality notes.
• Use patient management tools to track progress and engagement.
• Engage clients in conversations about substance use, treatment, and recovery.
• Provide information on community and online resources to support goals.
• Identify barriers to participation and communicate with clinical team.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing consistently in all interactions.
• Maintain communication with medical providers and support staff.
• Attend and contribute to all assigned meetings.
