Job summary

Equip is a fully virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program. The Recovery Coach collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to help patients integrate into treatment, address barriers, and personalize care plans, including remote sessions and caregiver support.

The role emphasizes sharing lived experience to motivate patients, maintaining consistent care adherence, and participating in ongoing training to deliver high-quality, individualized support.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with eating disorder recovery and ability to identify as being in a solid space of recovery.
• 2+ years of experience working directly with patients in a setting that uses protocolized care.
• Comfort working within structured care models or evidence-based protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills-based individual and group sessions to patients and caregivers in treatment at Equip.
• Implement motivational strategies with patients and caregivers to engage with their care plans and monitor adherence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team huddles to support patient progress.
• Maintain an availability calendar for scheduling appointments.
• Conduct proactive outreach, reminders, and follow-up to ensure full engagement with the care plan.
• Document caregiver and patient interactions in compliance with Equip policies.
• Attend and participate in internal meetings and ongoing training.
