Job summary

Equip is a 100% remote, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program that supports patients with a dedicated care team including a therapist, dietitian, physician, and mentors. The Licensed Therapist delivers evidence-based therapy (FBT, CBT-E) via telehealth, maintains a 30-40 caseload, and ensures high-quality documentation and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in California.
• Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, backgrounds and with varying acuity.
• Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
• Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (until 8pm in the primary time zone).
• Enthusiastic, strong team player and comfortable delivering care virtually.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders in a virtual clinic.
• Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients; ~20-26 hours direct care weekly plus admin time.
• Participate in trainings and supervision.
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, dietitians, and mentors.
• Utilize EMR for between-session messaging and documentation.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings and supervision sessions.
• Maintain licensure in home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
