Job summary

Equip is a virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program hiring a Registered Dietitian licensed in Massachusetts. You will provide care remotely, collaborate with a treatment team, and guide families through nutrition-focused therapy using family-based approaches.

This role emphasizes telehealth nutrition assessments, meal planning, progress updates, and discharge planning, with a focus on evidence-based education and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Must have active state license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or ACEND-approved coursework.
• Licensed RDN and eating disorder experience preferred.
• Strong skills in communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary teams.
• Organized and results-driven.
• Ability to balance business needs and clinical priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with change.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with regular telehealth meetings and meal plan assessment.
• Guide process of exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to the team and provide education.
• Echo treatment team directives in interactions with families.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Update treatment plans weekly with progress and goals.
• Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the team and families.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition education to challenge irrational thoughts and beliefs.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with families and maintain a professional alliance with the team.
• Document thoroughly in Equip’s EMR and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
