Job summary

Asurint is seeking a Researcher I to support pre-employment background checks, including MVRs, civil/criminal records, drug testing, and OFAC screenings. The role emphasizes data entry, research, and adherence to state laws while handling confidential information.

You will work with various databases and client communications to verify details, process orders, and maintain accurate reporting. A background in customer service or investigations is preferred, along with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or investigations.
• Experience with internet researching.
• Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with background screening is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and enter data from systems and documents related to an applicant's history.
• Locate information quickly in line with state laws and procedures.
• Use software to provide results to clients and update order statuses.
• Maintain confidential information and ensure accurate data handling.
• Collaborate with clients and resources to verify information.
