Asurint is redefining screening by blending technology with insights to deliver faster, more reliable pre-employment verification services. The Verifications Representative verifies prior employment, education, certifications and references for clients as part of the screening process.

The role involves researching, data entry, and contacting verifying parties, with work either remotely within the United States or at the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, research, or investigative work preferred.
• Experience with the legal/court system preferred.
• Experience with background screening preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software; familiarity with HRIS/CRM/GL systems preferred.
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts investigative research to handle customer orders using technology platforms and contacting verifiers.
• Documents research outcomes and performs data entry.
• Updates order statuses.
• Provides professional customer care related to product questions or problem resolution.
• Handles confidential information with good judgment.
• Contacts clients and outside resources to verify information.
• Analyzes information to identify discrepancies.
• Performs extensive internet inquiries to support verification.
• Locates information quickly in compliance with laws and procedures.
• Other duties as required.
