Job summary

Vertex US Distribution is seeking a Manager of Commercial Rebate Operations to lead end-to-end rebate administration in the US Market Access organization. This role blends data, process optimization, and cross-functional execution, with an enterprise mindset and focus on preventing revenue leakage.

The position supports remote or hybrid/on-site work in Boston, MA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), reporting to the Associate Director, Rebate Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technological discipline required with 4–6 years in contract operations, contract management, financial analysis, rebate processing, and payments to commercial payers, GPOs, IDNs, Medicaid or US Government.
• 2–6 years’ hands-on experience with managed care, Medicaid, or US Government contract administration technology (Model N, Validata, EDI, Helix).
• 2+ years’ experience interpreting Master Agreements and Rebate Agreements in a complex, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end contract administration operations, including setup in Model N/Revitas, rebate eligibility, discount validation, and volume reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency in payment packages and compliance with policies.
• Support contracting strategy design, development, negotiation, and execution processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build dashboards and analytical models for rebate data analysis.
• Analyze data to evaluate performance and ensure accuracy of rebate calculations and payments.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and participate in internal/external audits.
