Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Manager of Commercial Rebate Operations to lead end-to-end contract administration, rebates, and payment processes in a fast-paced US market. You will collaborate with multiple teams to design policies, automate dashboards, and support strategic contracting activities.

The role requires strong analytics, experience with Model N/Revitas, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years US pharmaceutical industry-adjacent experience with increasing responsibilities in contract operations, contract management, financial analysis, rebate processing, and payments to commercial payers, GPOs, IDNs, Medicaid or U.S. Government.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience with managed care, Medicaid, or U.S. Government contract administration technology (Model N, Validata, EDI, Helix).
• 2+ years’ experience in reviewing and interpreting Managed Care, Medicaid, or U.S. Government Master Agreements and Rebate Agreements.
• Proven ability to work in a complex, customer-focused environment with tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to build collaboration and drive problem-solving within and across teams.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders through effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end contract administration including setup in Model N/Revitas, rebate eligibility, and payment administration.
• Develop policies and SOPs to ensure consistency in payment packages.
• Support contracting strategy design, development, negotiation, and execution.
• Partner with Data Technology Engineering to build dashboards and analytical models.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting of contractual payments, dashboards, and trends.
• Ensure SOX controls and participate in audits.
